Dewd....you be being too hard on Yahoo.    What they are doing is exactly as stated which is sponsoring a great event which has at best a small chance of spawning things of great value to Yahoo.    They are not doing it out of goodness, butdue to networking, possible jobs , etc, etc. this is a win for all involved and this is a great trend in corporate thinking and in programming.

You think somebody&#039;s going to come up with something like Flickr during this, and Yahoo will grab it and say &quot;Thanks for the code sucker, now take this pizza and go home!&quot;.  Ridiculous.</description>
