Dewd….you be being too hard on Yahoo. What they are doing is exactly as stated which is sponsoring a great event which has at best a small chance of spawning things of great value to Yahoo. They are not doing it out of goodness, butdue to networking, possible jobs , etc, etc. this is a win for all involved and this is a great trend in corporate thinking and in programming.

You think somebody’s going to come up with something like Flickr during this, and Yahoo will grab it and say “Thanks for the code sucker, now take this pizza and go home!”. Ridiculous.
